Last weekend we had the opportunity to do one more Last weekend we had the opportunity to do one more hike, this time at the Dandenong ranges in Victoria. ⛰️

This was a very special hike in partnership with @parksvic where we had the opportunity to learn about the native species at the Education Centre where there was a remarkable collection of animals including all the Australian native species. 🐨🦘🦇🦉

This time we had a group of families and their kids who stayed at the Centre learning about the local environment with our fantastic host Julia and enjoying different activities such as bird watching. 🐦🦜

Meanwhile, the rest of the group embarked on an adventure to hike Mt Dandenong. The day was cold at first but the group quickly warmed up as we went to a steep start. Midway through our journey, we stopped at a picnic ground where we had some tasty wraps prepared by some of our fantastic volunteers.  The wraps were so tasty that even the cheeky kookaburras were trying to steal them out...from our hands! 🌯😲😅

- vehicle and hiker logistics,
- fundraising,
- communications,
- gear maintenance,
- volunteer training,
- social media posts,
- school visits, and
- general wizardry to keep everything going!

Today is your official day, but we are all this grateful for your efforts the other 364 days of the year too!
